One Quiet Lake CAmpaign

The magic of a quiet dawn…the sound of air moving through the wings of a Great Blue Heron as it lifts off the shoreline…, clean water to drink and to swim, paddle, fish and play in…, the sound of carefree children splashing in the water…, picnicking families…, the breeze in the pines. One quiet lake.

There will always be places for Minnesotans to motorboat, but where will Minnesota’s kids go to experience the magic of a quiet lake? Every Minnesota family should have local access to the joys and benefits of quiet waters. MRR is launching its One Quiet Lake program to establish at lease one new quiet lake or river in each county of Minnesota.

You shouldn’t have to drive all the way to the Boundary Waters for a little peace and quiet.
