Dead spruce/cedar/tamarack forest: One of thirty "unauthorized wetland impacts in the Finland State Forest: (U.S. Corps of Engineers, 1/24/03) done by local club in 1999 and 2000.

Take Action to Protect our State Forests from Illegal Bulldozing by Snowmobile and ATV Clubs!

Call DNR Commissioner Gene Merriam at 651-296-2549 and tell him to

Withhold state funds from the Silver Trail Riders ATV/Snowmobile and Finland Snowmobile Clubs

Require these clubs to repair the damage caused by documented illegal bulldozing

Hold clubs accountable statewide. Require the above of all clubs who violate state or federal laws and the terms of their grant-in-aid contracts accountable.

Not issue permit to Lake County to fill 6.3 acres of wetlands

Require County, DNR, and Silver Trail Riders ATV/Snowmobile Club to repair damage caused by "unauthorized wetland impacts" at 30 locations
